Curators Voice

My tutored works in clay began in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1991 when I start my studies at the School de "Arte y Fuego" under the direction of Professor Cándido Millán, where I attend until 1994.

During this time, not only I learned sculpture techniques, but allowed me to relate to artists and professors from Venezuela and other countries.
Throughout my attendance at the school "Arte Y Fuego" I worked in the fields of, raku techniques, paints techniques and pigments preparation, primitive fire, shape and three dimensional sculpture (in clay and other materials).
In 1999 I returned to the School Arte y Fuego to work with Mireya Salazar in raku techniques.

During 2004 to 2006 worked with resin three dimensional sculptures at Henry Rivas’ Workshop, Caracas, Venezuela.
In 1993 I participated in collective exhibition with a sculpture donated to SOVENIA (Venezuelan Society for Autistics Children and ' Adults), El Hatillo, Caracas, Venezuela.
